My Inspiration
“Pinang-ga gud ta mo!”, this is one of the sincerest lines I used to address my students. Service with love, what more will a stakeholder ask for?
When I was a student, I was educated that “Teaching is the Noblest of all Professions”. Now that I am already an elementary teacher, I believe that teaching is not just a profession but it is the Noblest Life Style! When I think of teaching as a profession, I can’t help to deduced it to something just a responsibility to be responded effectively. However, every time I see my students smile and say “Good morning sir!”, this deduction is transformed into a life-satisfaction vocation.
My students taught me very important lessons in my life. Because of them, I do not have office hours anymore. They can come to me anytime they need me. They became my life’s dictionary, because they add meaning and purpose to my life. I believe that time spent with them is time wisely invested.
In teaching, I learned that my duty is to my country in general, and to my students in particular. My students inspired me to be a good teacher and to be a better friend. Pangarap ko na rin ngayon na matupad ang mga pangarap nila!
